Инвестиции в ESG, инновационное развитие и финансовая результативность компаний
Аннотация
В статье представлен анализ литературы, посвященной влиянию ESG-факторов на инновационную активность фирмы и финансовую эффективность исследований и разработок. С одной стороны, в современной экономике технологическое развитие лежит в основе экономического роста, а одним из основных индикаторов эффективности фирмы является эффективность затрат на инновации и, в частности, на R&D. С другой стороны, даже несмотря на то, что внедрение ESG-практик увеличивает возможности по привлечению капитала, расходы на поддержание ESG-проектов, напрямую не связанных с технологическим развитием, могут оказаться бременем и увеличить риски успешной реализации основных бизнес-процессов. Таким образом, компаниям следует с осторожностью подходить к выбору направлений для ESG-инвестиций и одновременно обеспечивать стабильные
показатели инновационной деятельности. Современные академические исследования подтверждают, что инвестиции в ESG-проекты могут иметь как положительные, так и отрицательные последствия для эффективности инновационной деятельности. В то же время в настоящей работе подчеркивается, что тенденции последних лет, связанные с экономической турбулентностью, ростом дифференциации ESG-практик и отсутствием единых стандартов в области корпоративной социальной ответственности, усиливают именно негативное влияние высокой вовлеченности в ESG-проекты на эффективность инновационной деятельности.
