Resource Scheduling of an Investment Project

Abstract

Project management tool such as resource scheduling of an investment project is viewed in this article. That theme is thoroughly studied in theory but in practice that tool is not commonly used tool of project management. Moreover, in the period of the global financial crisis due to the limited access to the resources – especially financial resources – resource scheduling of an investment project must be one of the main tools of project management. To describe the use of resource scheduling of an investment project the author has considered a scheme of financial resource scheduling of an investment and construction project of one Russian housing company. Also the economic effect of the use of financial resource scheduling was calculated. The choice of the kind of the resources in this article was not taken as a principal issue because the proposed scheme of financial resource scheduling is applicative for other kinds of resources scheduling of an investment project.
