Post-merger integration as important element of value creation of company in M&A deals

Alexander Sergeevich BratkovskyIn the article theories which are explaining motives of M&A deals are analyzed. In a context of a value creation problematic and on the basis of provisions of motivational theories the motive of implementation of M&A deals is defined which conducts to creation of a value added of the united company – synergetic effect which is often considered as the core. As long as achievement of synergy effect happens directly in the course of companies’ integration, the integration process and its main characteristics, such as integration level and its duration, methods of integration and an estimation of its results are considered in the article.
